As a boy born in Florida, a place of small waves can be as good in the surf? The answer is to spend months and months training in incredible waves of Hawaii. This is the secret of Kelly Slater, six times ASP World Champion (World Surf Championship).
Kelly innovated the surfing world, creating his own style, incorporating the sport of skateboarding stunts, such as air. It is a surfer who adapts to any type of sea, whether large, medium or small.
But this is only the beginning. After participating in a TV series (Baywatch, here called Baywatch, transmitted by channels and SONY Multishow cable) and release a CD in 98 (The Surfers), Kelly has everything to beat many other records, that only with generations and more generations of surfers will be broken. CURRENTLY HE IS THE BEST!

MOMENTS OF THE DAY INAUGURAL QUIKSILVER PRO GOLD COAST

Was surrounded by enormous expectations that gave the kick-off for the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast, the step that not only marks the start of the Tour in 2014, as a new era in ASP. With the completion of the first round at Snapper Rocks, surf fans around the globe expected to see the best in the world in action, while the Portuguese were also eager to see Tiago Pires returning to the world elite.

While some of the compelling favorites fail enforce the law of the strongest, there were others who ended up losing surprisingly at the premiere and they were thrown to the second round, which is also our Saca, who unfortunately did not have the desired startup. Among some surprises and other certainties, day 1 of the Quik Pro was full of action and we show you here some of the best moments in the photogallery below.

Good mornig :D

funds

The types of funds have influence on the quality of the formation of waves.

· Fund Sand : Are shoals that change according to the currents and winds , are surrounded by ditches that make good formation of waves or not , when they are low on strength.
Note: The holes are ditches or streams where water pushed by the waves to the beach returns to the ocean .
They are always between two shoals , very good for surfers because we got to the bottom more easily but also dangerous for swimmers because many people drown in them , fighting his strength .
Example sandy bottoms : Barra da Tijuca ( RJ ) , Hossegor (France ) , Puerto Escondido (Mexico ) .

· Fund Stone : Raised near slopes that originate in the sea , only funds that are listed depend on a good swell coming in the right direction . Examples of funds stone Rincon Point ( California ) , Silviera ( SC - Brazil ) . In some places , away from the slopes , there are accumulations of stones making waves good training in the middle of the beaches .

· Coral Reef : This type of fund is classified in two ways - that is formed from the beach and those formed from the beaches .

In that form from the beaches , and as the pipeline Serrambi ( Pernambuco ) , the corrugations are reefs walls causing ripples break away from the beach and end channels ( pits ) . Depend on a number of factors to become really good .

The other type of coral bottom is formed from the beach or very shallow funds that almost form small islets , and the proximity to one another as archipelago , any kind of swell and wind provides a good fun making waves that we can often only reach the peak using boats . ( Ex : Cloudbraks of Tavarua in Fiji ) . In the latter type , one should be very careful with the intertidal therefore very low hen this becomes very dangerous ( corals are very sharp and in many instances are exposed may cause injury ) .

moon

Variations of the moon directly influencing the tides, moons strong (full and new moon) tides mean with many variations (very high and very low). Weak moons (waxing and waning) mean few variations of tides. Changes moons may also influence the size and formation of waves.

Winds and currents

To have a better knowledge of winds and currents should know the cardinal points (North, South, East and West). The sun rises in the east and sets in the West, from there we will know what name we give to the wind and what their influences on the sea.

· The offshore wind is so named because it blows from land to the sea.
· A warm wind, usually aliza the sea and makes hollow waves.
· Many days of onshore wind can stop waving.
· The onshore is the inverse of onshore, blowing from sea to land.
· Generally a cold wind stirs the sea and big waves can happen or cold front.
surfing is a sport performed on the surface of the water, often considered part of the group activities called extreme sports, whose proficiency is verified by the degree of difficulty of movements performed by the surfer standing on the slide surfboard, riding the wave breaking when approaching the beach or shore.
